If the kit is for the 110" motor, it should fit. And sorry but all of the 2009 110's did have catalytic converters.
The switch from having the cats in the mufflers to having them in the exhaust pipe did in fact occur for the 2009 CVO models, when they went to the new style frame and the 2 into 1 into 2 exhaust system. Only the CVO's and California models were affected however, so you could buy the headpipe assembly for a 49 state regular model and wind up with a non-cat headpipe for your CVO. That changed again for 2010, when all the touring models went to catalyst headpipes. Just a little trivia I thought I'd throw into the conversation.
And btw, the subject engine kit should fit any 110, but since Harley had to make it a street legal kit to keep EPA off their butts, they only went back to the 2010 models because the standards are the same for 2010 to present, but were different for 2008-2009. It cost's money to do the certification testing for EPA approval, and obviously they didn't see fit to spend additional money on certifying the older non-current standards models. Since I'm guessing Sinker probably doesn't care about it being EPA legal, he should feel free to do that kit if he wants, or a higher output version from someone else.
