110 Mofo, thanks for the info. The show had a huge influence on me when I was a kid, and I watched it religiously...,e.g., one of the reasons I chose HD as my ride. Safe riding and thanks. pcpisano

Yep.  Me, too!  I had a '67 XLH, Purple & White.  900 Iron-Head.  Then a '72 1000 cc.  Jeez.  The good memories sure outweigh the bad.  Hell, I can't even remember the bad!  Later--HUBBARD

I loved that show when I was a kid.  More accurately my dad did.  Watched it with him.  Seemed like every week.  Good memories  :2vrolijk_21: .

I remembered Bronson rode an XLCH in the Show, but the replica shows an XLH.  They get an "F" for attention to detail.  Later--HUBBARD

LONG LONESOME HIGHWAY
Theme from the TV Show "Then Came Bronson" (1969)

Michael Parks - 1969

Going down that long lonesome highway
Bound for the mountains and the plains
Sure ain't nothing here gonna tie me
And I got some friends I'd like to see
One of these days I'm gonna settle down
But till I do I won't be hanging round
Going down that long lonesome highway
Gonna live life my way

One of these days I'm gonna settle down
But till I do I won't be hanging round
Going down that long lonesome highway
Gonna live life my way
Yes I'm going down that long lonesome highway
Gonna live life my way

I too watched and dreamed of hitting the Long Lonesome Highway. I guess I owe Michael Parks a  word of thanks for giving me the urge.
Thanks Michael and Rest In Peace!

Wow this is sad. Then Came Bronson was the lone reason I fell in love with motorcycles and of course Harley's. RIP Michael and thanks for tuning me on to the love of riding. First street bike was a 1976 Sportster. Bought it used in '77, I was 18 and I was da man......or so I thought. Rode the crap out of that wonderful bike.

Yep, My 1st street bike was a '76 RootBeer Brown XLH, bought it with 3xx miles on it in '76,,, I was a 19 year old on a Mission... A Great Bike,,, it was in the Stable for over 15 years...

Little known fact; Bronson was originally slated to run a Triumph,,, Just prior to production Harley (AMF?) flashed some ca$h and got him on the Sporty...

Then Came Bronson,,, a Great Show,,, Probably had some influence on this adolescent...
