Reo, great looking bike.  Love the color, I have the blue.  Looks like the window matches up nice.  Is that quick detachable?

I purchased the Deluxe Auxiliary Lighting Kit (68669-05) which works with the windshield 57140-05. I am not sure if I can do this yet but I plan to leave the turn signals on the handlebar and also install the turn signals on the passing lamp bar.

Yes 2soaper that is the quick detachable type. And I think your bike looks great I'm just a red guy I guess.

rainman again you had the same idea's in accessory upgrades, I wanted the deluxe roadlight kit and I also was going to leave the turn signals on the bars but the dealer installed the standard roadlight kit, alot cheaper but I really dont like the bracket. Now the person that dropped the ball is saying the bracket will not fit but I pointed out to him that this roadlight kit is used on the flstn and it has the same front end/windshield. Let me know how yours fits when you get it, my plan is just to get the bracket if the light housings will fit.

I'm starting to think your right rainman about us thankfully living in different states ha ha.

Almost forgot, rainman you asked me earlier how the seat road. I put 200 miles on today and I have to say the seat is ok for short rides because of its size and contact width but for long rides I would consider it a 100 mile seat.

REO, thanks for the information about the seat, I will hold off on purchasing a new one. I did get my V&H BIG SHOTS in this week, but I am still waiting on the kuryakyn L.E.D. Fuel/Battery Gauge and vented gas cap.

My wife and I just had our first child and he is now eight weeks old. Here is a picture at five weeks.

Congrats on the little one, you may have to fit that bike with a side car now ha ha.

btw, you were right leaning towards the Corbon, what I didnt know was the mustang is fitted with vinyle no leather available. I may fit the sefb with the stinger in allegator, what do you think?

I had a Corbon on my BMW and it turned a 75 mile bike to an all day ride. I dont want to run out of _ss before I run out of gas on this bike. speaking of gas I got to fill mine up and run it thru the pipes now [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif]

REO, I do like the look of the stinger saddle and I think it looks better with the backrest than one of their solo seats do. The Corbin solo seats to me look like something is missing because I believe we would have to remove the chrome seat pieces that sefb seat has. I am really hoping several people post pictures of what they did before I make a decision.

Also, I am still undecided what saddlebags to purchase after reading your remarks. I ended up going down to my local HD dealer to look at the bracket you wrote about and I agree with you that they should have found a better (cleaner) way to mount the bags.

I'm thinking of going with the hard bags painted the cobalt blue.  Was waiting to see if I saw another bike with them first.  I may have to copy you guys Reo on your lighting idea, the nostalgia passing lamps and mount are sweet.  When you find out if you can have both the turn signal lights please let me know.

As for the seat, I'm not sure what I want to do with that yet if anything.  I've riden about 400 miles in a day without really any problem and I sort like the unique look.

I really like the look of the bags I now have and I think they would look great if I did'nt have the quick realease bracket and the sissy bar spacers mounted in between it. My plan is to remove the back bracket from the bag and cut/re-weld and redesign the whole thing moving it in 1 to 2 inches in while moving it back and possibly down keeping the quick detachable brackets for the sissy bar and bag.

I ran accross your website the other day, good site.

My bike came in tueseday, thats the good news. The bad news is the dealer won't get it done before this weekend. The bike is a red cvo fatboy. Im having them add a bunch of accesories for long trips giving it that convertable option.

The Corbin Stinger seat is a great one for the Fat Boy. We use to have a 2000 FB with that seat. her's a pic of it. Also try checking around for EZ Brackets or Ghost Brackets for your saddlebags. You only have to change out the bolt on the fender strut, nothing else. Bike still looks as it did without the bags.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Sandy

I looked up the Kuryakyn mustache highway bar and it is looks nice. I think it will look great on your bike. Also, thanks for the information.

I tried the Kuryakyn on my SEFB. It doesn't fit this bike good unless you want to change out the bullet break pedal and loose nearly 2 inches of your footboards. That's right, the dip down portion of their highway bar comes down so low it barely misses the top of your stock break redal and is of the same height. Therefore they want you to replace the break pedal that's on the bike with their solid chrome one that comes with the highway bars. It's close to 2 inches shorter than the break pedal on your bike. Which means you will loose nearly 2 inches of foot space on your boards. I took mine back to my dealer and went with the Lindy bar instead.  Sandy
