I had all the work done there and the total was about 1,600 not sure what just the parts would run.  JC checked the plugs after you said something and they look fine.

How much does Freedom want for the Exhaust and Power Commander?? Just curious.
Thanks

I paid 1421 for the complete setup. Pipes, PC, Air cleaner kit including shipping. It should arrive this week. I can't wait! [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Thanks for the response, not including the freight this makes this deal about $375 more than Rinehart ($641), PowerCommander ($285)and HD S/E air filter ($112).. Makes the programming they are doing to the PC a little pricey, but if it works that is O.K. I guess.

Magoo:

I would give Brad a call about the air fuel ratio. I have always questioned this with him as well, but he likes to run somewhere around 14.2  on average. I think that's lean,,,not sure why he does it. [smiley=confused5.gif]

Leaner is faster right up a point, then the power drops off.  Tuners lean the mixture up until HP drops off then richen it up enough to make almost maximum HP leaving a cushion for changes in air temp, altitude, and humidity.  An engine tuned to the very edge would lose HP and run hot if the altitude, air temp, or humidity changed considerably from the conditions where it was tuned. That's why the maps that HD funishes for various combinations of parts can be improved on so easily. They are usually quite rich as to provide a safe margin, no matter where the bike is operated.

I understand all that Steve. I know that Brad does too. Just saying it's out of the ordinary FOR HIM to tune at that ratio. Sometimes I think we all forget that were not tuning for the track. I for one don't care if the bike is a little rich, but i don't want it on the edge of too lean. [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Hey JC I just got around to being able to post a picture and now you want me to make it bigger.  The work was done at the end of September at street vibes,  Brad said it was the first one they have heard of but somewhere I had heard rhineharts have the same problem and they have a new bracket where it bolts to the starter but not sure.
