Second valve Spring failure
« on: October 22, 2019, 02:35:36 AM »

I should have listened to John's advice! My S&S beehive valve Spring broke, then I went Fueling Endurance  valve Springs. Well with about 3k miles one of the Springs failed. Renting a truck tomorrow to go home. Failed in Birmingham Alabama go to Smokies to see the Fall colors.
For a V124 with 600 lift cam but may get a 640 cam later,  do I get AV&V or Kibblewhite Dual Valve Springs? I Ride lots of touring miles on 98 Road King.
Do I opt for Titanium keepers ?
I won't know full extent of damage this time but I suspect it will be worse than last time.
If I have metal in oil filter or anywhere gotta get new Crankshaft and rods too I guess.
Thanks Guys
