Hi everyone, I have a 2017 CVO Street Glide that I bought used with 2600 miles recently.  After riding it for around 500 miles and making no changes, the check engine light came on.  It showed a u0001 code along with a u0002 code (ECM and ABS).  The dealer is currently checking it out but is taking a long time to clear the codes and keep them cleared.  They tried changing the batteries and it did not work.  Has anyone experienced the same codes and how did you fix it?  Thanks in advance.

I would start by checking the Fuses (Use a test light with Ign On and probe both side of the fuses to make sure power is on both sides) and Grounds.   Those are showing to be CAN BUS Communication errors.

U0001  CAN bus Fault

U0002  CAN Performance Issue

These codes often mean there is a problem with one of the CAN bus modules or the wiring connecting them to the BCM.  I've seen reports of these codes on several occasions that were traced back to a handlebar switch pack problem, often after changing handlebars, but there are also many other modules that could be affected  I don't have a late model Electrical and Diagnostics Manual; I would suggest buying or borrowing one and follow the diagnostic procedure.
