Seat pads

Dinger1990:
I’m looking for an opinion from the learned members of the forum. I’m considering an add on gel or airhawk pad for the SEEG seat for the longer tours. I’ve found that towards the end of a 2500-3000 mile tour, I’m down to a 2 hour butt. You folks think I’d be wasting my cash on a pad or are they actually worth the bucks? Thanks for any and all opinions, at least it’s not an oil thread.....  :jalapeno:

I’ve put on as much as 800 miles a day using the air hawk       I tried gel pads but they never did much.

Have used Air Hawk for years, have one for the BSR also.

Have tried gel pads several times, they don't work for me.

I've used one for several years.  Bought it for the BSR and I started using it when riding solo. Buying seats is like buying exhausts.  If your not satisfied, you're stuck with trying to re-sell it.  The Air Hawk is a good alternative.

Airhawk Cruiser R Small for me and the wife when we need it. You can inflate it up to 2" but, I inflate it between 1/4"-1/2".
The R has a BUILT-IN STRESS RELIEF DESIGN FEATURES TO
REDUCED PRESSURE POINTS ON TAILBONE, SCROTUM, AND PROSTATE.  JC  :beerchug:
