Baker Street Clutch Racing Spring
« on: June 15, 2020, 02:22:07 PM »

My Baker 9 Plate Street Clutch come with thier standard Diaphragm Spring and a Racing spring.
After 36k miles on Bike with S&S V124, it finally started slipping when accelerating hard in 2nd and 3rd is the most notable. I got new plates and installed the Racing Diaphragm Spring. It  super hold 60 % more torque. Standard Springs was rated 120 hp. A while back I changed the motor sprocket from 25 to a 24 tooth.
The new Belleville is .093 thick vs .072". The old one I could pull easily with two fingers, the new one takes a bit more effort with four fingers. It feels about the same as my FXR4  with the Scorpion Clutch  with the Green Springs.
Bike pulls better now. Next week Riding to the Smokies for 10 days! Yeah!!!!
