Had a very mild case of COVID about 6 months back.  Got my first moderna vaccine two weeks ago and had a pretty good fever a day after the shot but it only lasted 8 hours.  From what I’ve read if your immune system is primed to fight the virus it produces a strong reaction to vaccine shots.

 my self, got the covid first of December ... all most three weeks of fever, body aches, no smell, no taste (bad flew)  two weeks ago got the J&J shot, the next day was rough. all god after that................ your results may vary     :nixweiss:

Thats what I'm worried about. I had Covid in November and got tested for Antibodies before going to Daytona bike week
I had "Robust" Antibodies. I was called for a Vaccine appointment for today (March 22nd)and put it off.

Personally I’ll take a day or two feeling bad after a vaccine if it keeps me from getting something like what Mikey had.  I kind of think sooner or later we’re all going to get some immunity either from getting the virus or a vaccine shot.  We discussed which vaccine to get with a nurse friend and she was like it does not matter, just get one,  we’re all going to need a booster later anyway.

a friend of ours got that single dose shot. 2 weeks later she still has a lump in her arm the size of a spider bite. Must be the microchip you think?

Just got the second poke on Pfizer a week or so ago went fine the first poke I got a little light headed started thinking about buying a honda....  only lasted around 10 seconds.

I'm 64 and I've now had both rounds of the Pfizer vaccine with no side effects. Arm was a little sore for a couple of days but no more so than with a regular flu shot.

Easy Peasy and glad it's done, for now at least.

Well not form me. I had the virus back in Aug and lost 27 lbs  and was very sick. Still having some wacky side affects, blood sugar and brain fog and lack of energy. Took my first shot 2 weeks ago and was back in the bed for 2 days just like before. Hope the second one is ok.

Lew hope all gets back to normal for you and you can enjoy this spring and summer. I lost over 30 lbs. but have since put some of that
back on. ( I got my appetite back. ) Hope to see y'all in West by God By Cracky!

Had both shots of Moderna. NO side effects from either first or second which was on March 1st. Wife headache and tired after 2nd for about 8 hours then fine. Glad to get vaccine.
