I have not noticed any significant oil consumption in any of the three M8's I have had.  I have not been down much at all at the 5K services.

Neither of my wife's two M8's have used any significant oil either.

Usually the same bikes that use oil have carryover in the air filters and intake. They darken the oil quickly after an oil change. Blowby.

My 2020 consistently consumes a quart between 5k intervals. The bike is approaching 40,000 miles already and part of me wants to bore up in hopes to get components that seal better. To me, 1 quart between intervals is not acceptable, but as always, the service manager will say it's normal.
