Fullsac Header 131
« on: February 03, 2021, 09:37:34 PM »

I have used a Fullsac Head Pipe and 2" baffles on a Twin cam 117 build and it performed well. I  want to build a HD 131 using the HD kit and would appreciate feedback on the Fullsac head pipe and which aftermarket slipe on mufflers would provide the best overall performance. I have called Fullsac on other builds for their recommendation but today I all could speak with was a phone operator.

The Fullsac pipe you have will work great. You can stay with the 2" baffles but depending on compression and cam, 2.25" baffles would probably be better. That head pipe will easily support 160+HP.

There a great reviews on Khrome Werks and Fullsac headers making great power even with 2/1/2 pipes. Also depending on how crazy your build is, the Khrome Werks Exhaust System is good to 150 HP in 2/1/2 with great dyno results.

Joe is spot on.  The Fullsac MX head pipe and Fullsac baffles will support big HP and torque.

The headpipe has a nice torque curve to it, and is one of the better head pipes for the M8.  As for baffles the M8 is sensitive to back pressure.  A good 2.25 inch baffle does well with big HP builds.  To big a baffles and the left side torque curve suffers.

Moonshine Harley has some videos comparing head pipes, they like Fullsac for a 2-1-2 headpipe.

I'm running a 130 inch build M8 with a Fullsac MX head pipe, his 2.25 baffles with the tech matt and screens.  I'm over 160 on hp and torque.
