TTS Tuner
« on: February 05, 2021, 11:41:07 PM »

If a bike has the SE street Tune and auto tune and then the bike is later tuned with TTS, can the TTS be un-installed and leave no trace in the HD ECM? Thinking of warranty issues.

You may remove it but the bike will tell on you when they plug it in. Something about how many hours ago the ecu was flashes vs the mileage of the bike. My vin was flagged with a power vision. Waranty was up so I did not care

The TTS for some reason doesn’t effect the ecm in the manor the others do.

If you dig around the internet as this isn’t something the dealers nor the MoCo want you to know. But it’s been said the MoCo can see something but it’s not identifiable officially. They have nothing conclusive that they can pin down or prove.

The SESTP obviously makes its mark because it’s HD

It use to be that the dealer could not tell a TTS had flashed the ECM or Flashed it back to stock.  Then in 17 and newer bikes the dealer could see it had been flashed.  They do not have to prove what flashed it, just its been flashed.  So if you did not have a Harley tuner to flash it with warranty is void.

Well I removed my ECU which had a SEPST on it, put a ThunderMAX on it. Soooo, If I put my stock ECM back on (that had the SEPST) and then install a TTS, in theory, I should be OK?

That sounds like you would be ok. Assuming they can’t tell time vs miles.
