Finally got bike tuned after some changes
« on: February 11, 2021, 08:42:09 PM »

Found a local guy that tuned my bike ( with the TTS)  after I changed cam, intake manifold, 5.1" injectors and extreme ventilator a/c. Came out to 121 HP and 129 Trq. Overall seems really nice.. Attached is the dyno sheet. Only have ridden for about 50 miles since got it back..

Cam is Maxcell 829H from Jims V-Twin Performance.. Steve at GMR uses his cams & recommended it.

Why does your tuner have the Correction Factor in Japanese? Are you in Japan?

No not in Japan. Not sure why. Maybe hit wrong button. Will call and ask him. Does it make that much of a difference...??

thanks,... I guess head pipe  works better than a stock head pipe de'cat'ed  head pipe,   I'm gonna do something along those lines to my 114  m8 also  , thinking of a  s/s 475 cam  , de'cated  head pipe , slip ons, air box ,tts , .. a friend  I know had 118 / 130 with that set up 8)

Not sure if an aftermarket would be any better than stock one gutted out. But would flow better anyways. I'm happy with way it runs now. Only had it out once since got tuned & I couldn't keep it under 80-90 mph. It gets up & moves now...

Had me kinda worried about it being in Japanese... Haven't called the tuner to see why yet. We've had some really bad weather & ice for Texas and everything is shut down...Maybe he just fat fingered it...

The idle definately changed after the cam upgrade for sure. Has a loopy idle...Other than no vibrations...Runs really strong. When you get on it gets out quick. Gets up to 80-90 with no problem..
