Hopefully an easy question. I am trying to install a diamond 82U 2 channel amp (dimensions 8.5 inches by 4 inches) to drive the 2 fairing speakers and 2 horns. I don't use the tourpack. It appears that there is a harley amp under the head unit (or at least I think it is). Can I just remove the large harness going into the factory amp to make space for my diamond amp? I may be able to make it fit without cutting the front 2 tabs holding the harnesses if I removed the large harness from the amp. If I have to keep harness connected any other idea on where to install? I would rather install in the fairing on top of headlight as shown. Any other tips/ideas to install in an ultra would be appreciated. Tried searching installs but didnt get an answer to this question. Thank you all in advance.
