2012 ultra stereo/speaker upgrade
« on: March 16, 2021, 12:40:52 PM »

Trying to upgrade the sound a bit any idea if I can just get rid of the stock speakers and amp and replace it with better stuff as I’d like to keep all the handle bar controls and gps working as is. Or should I just give up and gut the whole thing just don’t want to spend a couple grand to get better sound. Any help is appreciated

You can replace the entire system AND keep your handlebar controls with a steering wheel module.  I used Schoshe (sp?) brand and all my buttons work flawlessly.  It was a big project but the end result was well worth all the hassle.

Contact sinister sound. They sell a kit that works off your boom amp. It’s a significant improvement over stock for 1/4 the price of some high end systems.

SoundZ, a very good system. Just put a 6 speaker system in my bike. Couldn't be happier.

Hell I’ve been saving and haven’t been buying a new one every couple years so figured new stereo is better then new payments. Thinking about retirement 🤞in a few years once the house is payed for. OBB this place we work is goin to hell in a hand basket
