2015 CVO Street Glide
« on: January 13, 2024, 06:39:36 PM »

Good afternoon forumers!  Coming over from HDForums to ask a couple of questions related to a potential purchase.

I was hit and totalled my '15 Ultra Classic Low on NYE.  Recovering slowly and now looking for a new to me ride.  I found a 2015 CVO Street Glide locally with only 1871 miles on her.  Hard Candy Mercury/Smokey Quartz flames.  The owner put on a quick detach kit and it comes with the Sport(?) Tour-pak, passenger detachable backrest and detachable luggage rack.  Only visible mods to engine are a set of Rinehart slipons.  It also Hogtunes amp and speaker upgrades.

Asking price is 24k even.  Does that sound reasonable?

I've done my homework and my understanding is that the only issue with 110 is it likes to eat lifters, potentially early in life, 10K miles or so.  Is that the understanding of my fellow forum denizens?  Is there anything else engine/driveline I need to be aware of before pulling the trigger?

Welcome aboard.
I have a 2015 limitedwe bought new with over 20,000 miles on it.
I replaced the lifters last spring,  as preventive maintenance.  Nothing was wrong with them, they were very quiet.
No other problems with this bike
As for the price of the bike your asking about, with the low mileage doesn't seem that far out of line.
Offer $20,000 and meet in the middle.

Nice looking bike. I have a 16 cvo street glide and had my lifters replaced at 19k. My retired independent said the stock lifters looked fine. I agree offer 20k, all the extras are worth it to me. The tour pack looks liked the chopped one to me.
