If possible, I have your dealer try the 20s Evo headset.

If possible, I have your dealer try the 20s Evo headset.

I could - but it came with a 30k and I'd kind of like to see the parts that the bike comes with, work together - or HD make corrections.

I already know that other headsets, e.g. my Aeropex and the Tech's aftermarket, will pair and work for audio.

On the 2021’s, a recalibration of the flux capacitor is required. This is a dealer digital reset. Hope this helps. And do not let anyone tell you “they all do that”.

Good thought!

I just tried a radio reset, and no joy.  I guess I'll wait to see what HD has to say.....

I understand.
What I was curious about is that the Sena firmware is intergrated into the WHIM which allows you to change the operational setting of the Sena headset through the GTS.

If the 20s did not work, then I would say the issue is the WHIM….If it did work then I would focus on the 30K firmware being the issue.

Sorry you have to deal with this. I have been using Sena Headsets for years and generally they just work.

Good Luck

Looks like HD recognizes this as a wider spread problem and is working to figure out the fix....

I have the same problem with my headset.  Tried updating the software, but as another poster here noted, it won't update.  I had dealer update the WHIM software and that didn't work either.

Yes HD has determined there is a problem, and is working with Sena to figure out a solution.  Will post when I get the fix....

This one is resolved.

With the help of HD and Sena, the Dealer was able to reflash the HD 30K headset to a version of 2.2 that worked.  Voila!  The GTS sound now plays through the WHIM headset on my 2021 Road Glide.

I was then able to update to 3.1 at home with my PC.

Plus, I added Sirius, which seems to also work well.

All seems good now.

According to an email I got from HD, the 3.2 firmware is also supposed to fix this problem with getting music  sound through the 30k, that some users are experiencing.

FWIW, my 30k also seems to buffer audio better with the 3.2 firmware.
