Well now that beer is an exceptable all day beverage and not just for breakfast anymore, my favorites are as follows:
free & warm
warm
free and cold
cold
yours & cold
theirs & cold
mine & cold
over a bowl of cornflakes (anytime)
I have been known to wake FDC, Nekkid, FDC and Nekkid. I vagely remember one night lying on the lawn grasping the grass for fear of flying off the face of the earth.

Excellent news - I'll get the right arm limbered up over the next few weeks.

Have you ever tried dry hopping, you can add some pellet hops to your secondary, I have also done it in the keg at times, just put them in a muslin bag and drop them in. It's hard to get that fresh hop flavor without a lot of bittering with traditional hopping during the boil. but if you add some after your primary fermintation you get all the aroma and flavor without extreme bittering.  :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:

Yea, but dry hopping gives more aroma than bitterness, I like dry hopping, I love that hop smell!!!  just add more hops at the start of the boil next time. Make sure their fresh as possible.  What type of hops did you use? are you using pellets, leaf, or plugs?

i used some in the boil and dry hopped as well. using pelets for both. didnt bother bagging it though just added it in, figured it would settle to the bottom and get left behind.

did in the primary though, wasnt thinking bout waiting til the secondary. theres always next time

Your fine, bagging is only for the keg so you don't pull the hops up while dispensing, but adding to the secondary
after the fermentation helps retain more of the aroma and flavor. you may have to adjust your qty. though, I use less than an oz  of a mixture of Simcoe & Amarillo for 5gal. just make sure you use a fresh unopened bag of pellets when adding to the secondary so you keep things clean.

our local homebrew club is chartering a 25 passenger bus to attend DarkLord Day at Three Floyds Brewing Co, just over the border in Hammond Indiana, they will sell their DarkLord Russian Imperial Stout and host a festival in honor of the brew. It's a kicka$$ once a year event, and the DarkLord is to kill for, The event starts at noon and will include food, beer rating and trading, and bands.  :bananarock:

As of late my brew of choice is the Belgian White Blue Moon. Very full bodied and quite crisp with a hint of citrus. If you haven't tried it give it a taste you'll like it.  Later,Q

I also like this beer, but only from a tap, a slice of orange on the rim, and its very refreshing.
Other beers i like, again, i only drink beer on tap which makes it harder to become a full-blown alcholic , Fosters, Hiefenwiesen, and Guisness. Theres a pub in San Leandro, that had an Irish stout, called 'double chocolate', I do believe that you could put some whip cream on top of this one , its like a chocolate milkshake.
