The beer supply at the top of Lookout Mountain in Georgia for Memorial Day was not plentiful, but it did include Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.     :drink: :drink: :drink:

Others had better libations for the weekend from reading this thread, but after a couple or so by the campfire, SNPA was just right.

If I were sitting on top of Lookout Mountain, and the supply of beer was not plentiful, I'd love the heck out of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale while sitting by the campfire.

I've now decided that I like a famous Red Beer brewed by a great little company called Naitram Brewing Inc. down in Marlborough !

only problem with those small companies is you never know when that flavor will be available again.... i think naitram brewing is planning an IPA style for its next batch

so far all batches have been from existing recipies, naitram brewing is about ready to start trying to create its own recipies

If you need a tester from across the pond to assist in tasting your new brewskis you need to look no further  ::)

Not too sure if you should go into pastry making though !!!

Mrs. WeCVO it was not all that tough to make do with what beer available.  A crackling campfire, my lovely wife, and good friends make for a most pleasant evening. Others had that spiffy Naitram's Red though, so of course I am somewhat jealous of their liquid libations.  Then I read about the recipe/formula exploration plans and for some reason have a hankering to ride north.....

I like JW Dundee's Honey Brown Ale I bought (among others) for the beer fest this past weekend. Discovered one thing for sure in working my way through 21 different kinds -  - - I like sweet beer. Had Some Coronado Brewing Company Orange Ave Ale with my sprouts and avacado for lunch. WFP's been there, guess it was all he got to see when he was out this way. Anyway it's like Orangeboom.  :)

Didn't have orange beer when I was there!

I must be honest, I really don't go out of my way for these fruits and vegetables beers like Blueberry, Pumpkin, woodchuck cider etc. but I will drink it.  I will try any beer at least once but I get in a rut...when Curley's (before it burned down) had Magic Hat #9 that is what I would have...when their last keg kicked, I didn't feel like the replacement, Sam Adams Summer, I couldn't decide, so for now, I have been having a bottle of bud.

Today's purchase was some Anchor Steam out of San Fran. Hear it's good...we'll see. Should be a good weekend for beer though. Saturday is the 4th Brews and Blues fest here.

Good tap beer. If it bottles well you've got a keeper.

Hey, I picked up a new one for me here in New Zealand.  Instead of TGIF they take a POET'S day.

Sounds a bit snobbish I guess.
