Some fruit required in the brew process by recipe is one thing. Adding fruit to a glass or bottle of beer, homey don't play dat! ;)

Hoist! 8)

This is the Real issue though, IMO, as I stated previously the ingredient of "True" Beer according to the German Purity law:"Reinheitsgebot", states, the only ingredients that could be used in the production of beer were water, barley, and hops, everything else is just Cool Aid.

I tried filtering for a while, got some in-line filters, and pushed the beer from one keg to another, worked OK.
it wont change the flavor of the beer, usually they are used to stabilize the beer by removing the yeast, and thus stopping all fermintation, but really unless the beer is going to be sitting around for a long time, it doesn't make much sense to filter it, and if you are bottling you need a little yeast left so your beer will carbonate. so don't waste your time just transfer it to a glass carboy and let it sit a couple of weeks and let gravity do the job.

Last time I sat on my beer I'd already had about ten !

I thought the kidneys filtered the beer.  You mean you have to filter it before hand also?

Dry hopping is the root cause of wet hopping, when the line at the men's room is waaaay too long?

The key to this topic is FRIDAY   Scot was in town from Colorado for some LE training and came up to visit me and Beags at O'Harley's.

A pretty woman drinking beer with orange slices in it led me astray in a big way. Scot didn't rescue me from her feminine wiles either. Now I ask you what kind of brother is that ?

Like the old saying goes, I woke up afraid I was gonna die, but noon I was afraid I was gonna live

Thanks Scot, work was a real special treat today

Well it's Friday again and I'm looking forward to getting my chores done and then going round to a buddies for a good nosh, a few pints of good English Real Ale and finish off with a few measures of Buffalo Trace Bourbon, all helped down by copious quantities of good hearted BS.

Pack the bags over the weekend ready for our trip to Austria next week, 2000 miles of fun!

Life is good.

Bought some for this evening's drinking pleasure.  Reading this thread ALMOST makes me consider brewing my own........

Last time I drank beer with orange slices, it was also with a lovely young lady and my head hurt so bad the next morning, I swore off orange slices in beer.

Damn things gave me a helluva hangover.   :drink: :drink: :drink:
