Planning ahead to tomorrow, we will be drinking beer, on a Friday, and in Maggie Valley.

Won't be Cheap Merican - will be what the host restaurant carries and we will be clinking glasses with our fellow brothers and sisters from CVO Harley.com.   :drink:  Only one mind you, as we gotta be able to keep those two wheels with their rubber sides down.   ;)

What are you having?

I love weekends!  In the 20 odd years I've been of legal drinking age I've learned to perform every weekend task with one hand (so I don't have to set my beer down).  Sometimes this takes a lot more time and careful planning.

I like to try various regional and imports.  I'm disgusted by the recent popularity boom of the alternative malt beverages (Mike's Hard, Smirnoff et al) that take up valuable cooler space and limit my choices of GOOD beer!

well, get use to it, unfortunately this is the direction the distributors are going based on the demand of this wussy chit coolade from the youngsters, its evedent that this generation has thrown traditional acceptable quality levels out the window, they have no taste whatsoever, they listen to rap music on mp3's, drink spiked coolade and eat microwave food on a daily basis, human values have sadly deteriorated in the last two generations.

Not that I don't agree with you, cause I actually do

but I bet if you could go back 40 generations, the folks said about the same thing about the next generations.

Just think, they are our future.

Now I'm not one to point a finger at my bros, but here's the thing. I had a dozen Modelo's in the patio fridge and a dozen Guiness along with some nice ale to make a Black & Tan.  Someone, I won't mention who said " what'd you buy the Modelo for ?

Went to get a Modelo last night

The Modelo's are gone, the ale is gone, the Guiness is still there.

Now how'd that happen ?    :D

Modelo tends to disappear first - especially when a few folks decide to try - well maybe just one cuz they've never tried Modelo.  It goes quick.

Drank some Negra Modelo on the 50cc ride last week.  Did not drink all that much beer, considering, but sure racked up some miles.  At some point in the future, I hope to rectify that by taking a leisurely beers across America ride.
