Found the London Pride, but not the Landlord, by Timothy Taylor. Cell phone picture, little blurry.

Not bad! They also had their Porter there. I'm still drinking, let you know what I think when I'm done!   :drink:

Glad you found the London Pride. Hope it travels well across the pond. I've had a few tonight plus a few Theakstons and all washed down with a few JD's on the rocks. Hic - ahllseeyalltomorra !  :drink:

Make sure you don't put it in the cooler. It needs to be drunk at room temperature or just below.

Room temp in jolly ol England is 65 isn't ?....Room temp down here is whatever I set the blinkin ac at...87 yesterday!
Not trying to rub it in but where was winter at?

Room temp for me yesterday was on the floor of my garage which was 34 yesterday.  Perfect for the Smuttynose IPA I was drinking.  I understand the reasons for drinking it at RT.  I would just like it better cold.

OK so lets get definitive on this VERY important matter. My statement about it being served at room temperature or just below was somewhat ambiguous as you could be living in Northern Alaska (served as a lollipop) or in central Africa where it could be blood heat or more (huh)

Optimum temperature for live Cask conditioned beer is between 52f & 55f - any warmer than this and it may start to taste unpleasant - any colder and you will not get the flavours of the beer coming through.

I have had beer at room temp plenty of times - best for me when "room temp" is somewhere below 40 F.  Have had some beers at 55 F & understand the flavor reasoning behind the temp served (I am in the food biz) but it's also what people are accustomed to (cold vs cool vs warm).  Anyway, a few seconds after the amber nectar of the gods enters my mouth, it's nearer my body temp than serving temp anyway. 

It was a Yuengling & Sierra Nevada weekend, with a little Dogfishead Amber thrown in for good measure.

Yup...Sometimes a icy cold domestic lager is just the thing, piped down quickly of course.  I carry a cooler in the truck at all times, ifin I have to ice my ales I will...Hell thay warm up to 50 purty quick down here in god's waiting room.

I had some Terrapin Rye and some nice amber from Michigan I can''t remember, it had a bird on it...Bell's maybe.
