O.k., so I just happened to read this on a Monday and I am all ready looking for Friday...c'mon Friday, wanting some Red Ale now. Neal, you are quite the fount of knowledge; thank you for the information on brewing. I might try my own hand at it here soon.

If you have ANY interest in home brewing and not sure how to get started go to the public library and get "The New Complete Joy of Home Brewing" by Charlie Papazian.  It's considered the home brewers bible.  You'll know your level of interest after reading it.

I've heard from several posters here about Blithering Idiot from Weyerbacher and checked on line at my local Beer Emporium and, sadly, they don't have it.  They do, however, have an oak cask aged version of it called Insanity.  They also have the Quad which is at the top of my list.  Not only is Friday Beer day but it's Pay Day for me as well.  Woo Hoo!

Yep, one of the best books for those wanting to start homebrewing. He gives you plenty of good information without going to far for new brewers. I worked a booth for the American Homebrew Association, AHA, one year at the Great American Brewfest in Denver, a nice down to earth guy. Now Michael Jackson, a brewing expert, not the one from the Jackson 5 ;D, now there's a weird bird, I think he's drunk all the time.  :drink:
