Lined up for the parade lap...me and Diva, JR, Brian, Tommy, John, MJZ, PHAZE, and a couple of others got in this...three laps around the track, escorted by Sheriffs on Gold Wings....it was a blast!!  A couple of times we got to wind them up to about 75MPH, but they kept the speeds down to an average of 40 or 50.  The track is incredible!!

Looking across the pit area to the other side of the track...while watching the race, Bob, Ilene, me, and Diva sat on the grassy bank you can see on the other side, located just after the chicanes, on the back straightaway.  Bikes would come out of the last turn, hit the throttle, and many of them would wheelie while using every inch of the track...the rear ends of the bikes would "wiggle" they were getting on the throttle so hard...probably going from 90mph to speeds near 140 down the back straight.

Here's a couple of pdf files of the track...first is elevation.

Open if you have Adobe Reader, then rotate counterclockwise.  The track has been called the best road course in the world...in addition to the curves and straights, there are frequent changes in elevation, as you can see.

That's it from me...what a fantastic time we all had!!!  The riding, dining, drinking, and hanging at the races just could not be beat.  What a great bunch of CVO brothers and sisters we have here...nobody I'd rather spend time with.  Great visit from good people...we just need more of you to come next year!!!  Perhaps make it a CVO event...how about 100+ CVO's in the parade laps?
