Engine light on
« on: May 13, 2007, 03:06:20 PM »

Did the first 220 miles on the TM/AT, so it could learn my ways, and it all seemed fine.  However, at one point, I was caught in a stop-start queue of traffic for 15 mins or so.  Bike felt fine, but just after we got moving again (still v. slow) I noticed my Engine light was on.  As soon as we got a little speed up, however, it went out again.  What might cause that?  The first thing to think of is temperature - but today was 40-45 degrees F and rainy.  I don't believe the motor was that hot.....  Bike felt fine, all the gauges read fine, just that the light came on.  Does the TM store a log of errors?
