Touchup Paint
« on: June 07, 2007, 09:30:36 AM »

Can the dealer's Parts Department get touch-up paint for the CVO's?

I have a Razor Red Roadking (FLHRSE) and somehow got a nasty nick/rock chip on the frame already.

Any one have the paint codes/part numbers for the tins and the frame?

I called H-D.  The touch-up paint bottles for the CVO Roadking in Razor Red is:

HD P/N: 94451 [Frame] (brush bottle)
HD P/N: 94457 [Tins]  (brush bottle)

MoCo will not release the paint codes for the CVO's even to the dealer.

At least, I can get touch-up paint for the bike.

I'm waiting for the Black Ice Touch-up paint kit, with some other parts I ordered, from Zanotti's. They said it's a kit but they didn't know what it included. The description said for Black Ice FLHRSE3 with Pewter Leaf Flames. Maybe it includes some touch up for the flames too? It was a little over $19.00 including a 20% discount, so it must be for more than just the B/I paint alone. Wouldn't surprise me if it's not though! ;) Hoist! 8)

Buyer Beware,

I ordered the 1/2oz bottle of each color... Each bottle is almost $40.00 for touch-up paint.  That is frickin' ridicilous!

If you call H-D Customer Service, they will provide you with a H-D Part # for your color in factory touch-up paint if you are going that route.

Otherwise, if you take you bike to a high-end body shop with the bike, they scan scan your paint and mix you a batch.

I've seen that.  I too have a red SERK but what about the burnt gold flames.  Any ideas.

While waiting to meet Terry and Suzanne at Foster's, I ordered a touchup kit for my melon.  P/N for my scooter color is 94398.  Total price shipped to my door was $38.72.  Once I get it, I'll tell you what's in it.  I don't need it yet (knock on wood), but it is nice to know it is on the way.

Not a Harley dealer, but Millers in Daytona has all the HD touch-up colors in stock including the three pak of CVO colors. Ask for Jr. Also he has a lot of the CVO stuff that you aren't supposed to be able to get w/o a s/n. Tank emblems, Tour Pak Medallions etc.
Not cheap, but they have a lot of stuff.

Millers is on south Ridgewood Ave. Any local can tell you where Millers is when you get to Daytona. But easy to find, take International Speedway into town from I-95 to Ridgewood, turn right (south), Millers a couple miles on your left.
A must stop during Bikeweek, Biketoberfest if you haven't been there.

My touch up paint kit arrived last week.  Three bottles:  Black, Gold, and Green.  OK, I think I understand the Gold, since it appears it was used under the Green from the looks of the inside of the outer fairing.  If and when I need to use this stuff...............how do I?
