CVO holds own...
« on: June 10, 2007, 08:20:12 PM »

Entered the local HOG chapter / HD dealer ride n shine bike show, 40 some bikes and no classes - just peoples choice, top 5 get trophies. Almost left when I heard that as I saw several custom jobs and lots of custom paint. Ended up taking 5th, no big deal but cool, Pretty cool being the only winner that did not have a custom paint job, the only one with a fairing, and the oldest winner. That makes it a pretty cool Lil 5th place to me. Also - first pics I have with the new Supertrapp pipe over the RB1 LSR pipe, and added the finned headbolt cover that I dremeled out notches to allow use with compression releases. Also the XM antenna routed out onto the dash for the portable XM Inno radio on the bars - works great - no signal drop except when in deep - deep woods foilage. It was a good weekend.

Ceej

Have to tell you,
that's one fine looking bike. :2vrolijk_21:
If you got 5th, I would suspect 1 - 4 paid for their places.

And damn :nervous:, you were the oldest winner?
I'd give you my Frontier to be back at 37!

Great looking dresser!

 :2vrolijk_21:

Edited to add,
Eventually you know that all those guys will have a dresser!
And yours will still be the best looking!

CeeJ,
Congrats. :2vrolijk_21: Bike looks great!!!! I noticed something I haven't seen before. The polished/chrome piece under your seat/above the starter.... what's the 411 on that?

Thanks all....Ok, I wasn't the oldest, the bike was being a 2004 model, couple of '05's an 06' and a nice custom '05 panhead chop whose owner kept asking about the SEEG - loved it! The others were very nice and I was shocked to win at all as I am not in the local HOG chapter that put the thing on, I'm just in the National HOG. They had lots of foot traffic though as they gave away a Dyna - didn't win that :(

Dood - that is a stainless steel panel that covers the ugly whole area leading to the battery, I got it from Fireman Joes website - only it needs a hole cut out for the cruise cable...I have LED's coming next that I expect to take full advantage of for maximum reflectivity! ;D

Ok, thanks. It's nice now as it is, and will really pop when you put some lights there. :2vrolijk_21:
