Happy Fourth of July to each and every member here and to all of our men and women in the Armed Forces serving here and abroad. :2vrolijk_21:

Roj,
I think it has something to do with the time difference, or planet alignment over on this side of our great country.

We're getting ready to light the Kingsford here!  Anyone for some down home country hamburgers and hot dogs?  Sorry.........no snipe.  We had that for breakfast!  Plenty of COLD Yuengling here as well!  Renea made a beautiful macaroni salad and some Cajun deviled eggs too.   Each day I thank God for sending me an Angel.  Happy Independence Day everyone...............and PLEASE don't foget about our Warfighters in harm's way!  They are the ONLY reason we can enjoy days like today instead of living in fear and oppression from a dictator.  Thanks guys and gals!  You ROCK!  And we're damn proud of ya!

We had some friends over for a hamburger/hotdog cookout this evening.  Ken and I were stationed at Ft. Campbell together for most of our 20+ year careers and never knew each other until I came to work where I work now a little over a year ago.  We've been like brothers since, and his wife, Gayle,  and Renea have been like sisters.  Wanted to share some pictures of this evening.  Here's everyone sitting in the garage jaw jacking earlier this afternoon.

Ken has a bada$$ Pontiac GTO ZL402.  Yep.  ZL402.  Don't ask me the specs.  He rattles 'em off, and my memory can't absorb 'em.  All I know is that thing is fast, and my ears left imprints in the driver seat headrest.  BAD!!!!!  And it is Vortech Supercharged!  Talk about giving a drubbin'.  This thing will do it.

Of course, Stef enjoyed herself too.  We got her to laughing so hard at one point we thought she was choking.  Momentary scary situation, but everything was OK.

Last one.  Gayle and Ken refilling.  Afterward we shot off a mess of fireworks.  Ken has to work in the morning, so they left about 45 minutes ago.  Great evening.

Happy Independence Day!!!!!!  :2vrolijk_21:

I'm a pyrotechnician and we do a show for the City of Winchester over Tims Ford Lake. All of our fireworks come from PyroShows and we definitely enjoy our work. We were setup and ready to rock at nine o'clock. There were a few problems due to the drought conditions but everything went off without a hitch......
