Spoilers should have been supplied with an intermediate harness that connects at the accessory connector just forward of the battery.  Will come from there back to both saddlebags.  The saddlebags' interior harnesses will come through their inboard sides (yeap, drill a hole in the bags) at a point that will allow the two harnesses to mate.

A little off from your main point, but I just had the spoilers installed by a local dealer and the service tech didn't put washers on the bolts to attach them through the saddle bag lids. So, I'm waiting on new spoilers & possibly new lids due to the bolts cracking the top side and popping the paint.

The wires were run along with the power lock wiring with the plugs next to each other.

(Yes, thats more rain on the 'Lil Mermaid')

You can also add the "Wig Wag" to have the spoiler lites toggle back and forth a couple times before they go on steady.
