LMAO!!!!

somehwre in here was a thread about someone leaving their trailer black....  im pretty sure i didnt imagine that ;)

Too true.  My first thought was to just leave it alone for a couple of reasons.  Just assumed a good paint job to match the bike would be more money than it was really worth to get it done.  And wasn't sure I was actually keeping the trailer.  Figured a basic black would have a larger market for resale.

This guy offered a surprisingly good deal to paint it "this winter" though.  Same price now since he's suddenly hurting for work.  Since making it look cool is half the battle if it looks cool I'll definitely hang on to it.  Will be convenient to have even though it'll only get used a few times a year.

Trailer ain't got no jugs man  :pineapple: !

Cooler is a whole different kettle of fish.  It and the trailers "bra" are black vinyl.  Nice heavy vinyl too.  Nicely made shi..... stuff.  Nicely made stuff.

If the paint comes out very cool, however, then someday down the road might have to hit up Corbin for some quantity of material that matches the tan seat.  Redo the black vinyl for tan ostrich.  Then we be stylin'  :bananarock: .

There's a thread someplace here, if you do a search.........of bike trailers.

Hey since you brought it up, how's the back seater doing, any chance the trailer will help out a decision for longer rides?

For packing purposes of course.  Unfortunately that wasn't her biggest problem.  When we did the first "test ride" down to central Arkansas it was a WINDY day.  Windy enough that even I was annoyed.  Full lane change windy.  Semis bouncing around windy.  And it scared the bejezzus out of her.  Since I could not promise to omnipotently control the weather she decided she's a more local and fair weather rider.

I remember that, too bad, yet now you'll have room for the Beer and Brats on the long rides with the trailer :2vrolijk_21:

I'm thinking the cooler could become a very well used accessory addition.

On my way back from the Grand Canyon I was on I80 crossing Iowa and saw a lot of bikes heading to stugis pulling trailers and some brockdown on trailers (or they must have been after all that is the only time mine is on a trailer) so I thought it would be neet to see what the real riders pull behind there bikes, I've read about a few now lets see them.

I'm sorry but I am wondering what is meant by this

I don't own a trailer, but have logged 60,000 miles in the past three years

What would make me a " real rider " in your book ?

I thought that was the intent of the trailer? :confused5: A rolling cooler for tailgates at CVO GTG's. :huepfenlol2:

Gary, last night it pulled stationery duty doing just that.  Spent several hours in the garage last night.  At the shop there's a little ice box.  But no such thing in the garage here at the house.  And it's oh so far to walk in to the kitchen.  So I unzipped the cover, dumbed in some ice and six pack, and had trailer cooler beers all evening in the garage.
