cycle-shack baffles in stock pipes
« on: August 11, 2007, 01:41:11 PM »

I just installed a set of cycle-shack baffles in my stock pipes ,pulled the stock {cat} baffles out {junk} and had to make a alum. 'doughtnut' to take up the space. Doughtnut is 3/4 thick and 2 3/8 I.D. and 3 1/8 O.D.  SOUND IS GREAT. Will go on the dyno in anouther 1000+ miles. Zippers air filter too. Stock F.I.  bike pulls really well between 2500-5000 rpm ,seat of the pants. Only have 1000+ miles on it and it gets looser with ever ride. Tightest motor I have ever had !!!! Motor is off before the key is all the way turned !!!! Just got a NEW cvo manual {springer} and it said compression should be 200-220 when comp. releases are discontech. The comp. release is in the squish area in the heads {flat suface} and exits in the exhaust ports.
