Got my new bars tonight, they are CHUNKY! I will fit them tomorrow night (friday) & hopefully make it to an organised ride at noon on Saturday.

Well Speedy inspired me, but still no where as radical as the 9 degrees Speedy has. I could not go any more as it was a battle to keep the tins as it was. But it turned out OK, I also went +4 fork tubes. My front wheel is now about 4 inches further forward than stock. It probably rides & handles better than before. Aussie, did you have to modify anything to get the 2007 SERK speedo/tach to fit/work with your console? My dealer told me that it wouldn't work with my bike...

Where in hell to you get the $$$ to do all of these mods?  I dont think that there's anything left to do Aussie!  Phat tire kit?

Have had the 200 fat tire kit for more than a year now but recently got a Baker DD6 to suit the conversion so I do hope to find time to do it all soon!

What model bike do you have?

I did a bit of research before I ordered the 07 speedo/tacho as the book said it did not suit my model. But I could not find any reason why it would not so I ordered one & it fitted right in the same as the stock one (plug & play you might say) to this day the only reason I can come up with for the MoCo saying it does not suit my model is the fact that the 07 one has a 6th gear light to show when you are in 6th. Big deal mine just wont light up! (WOW! I can live with that) & you dont even know it is there anyway.

I see you have an 06 fatboy & as far as I can tell apart from the 200 rear they are the same as the 05 mechanically & electically so I am sure you can just fit the 07 speedo/tacho to yours as well. Just send the milage you have on your now (or add a few miles if you are going to clock a few up in the next week or 2) as they send them calibrated.

My OCD is so bad that when I changed mine I had to go to imperial (MPH) to suit my American Made Harley Davidson. My Harley did not need a metric speedo.
So now when I am doing 100MPH I am doing 100MPH, not 160KPH!

I am still looking for the cure for OCD, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aussie, I am looking into the SERK speedo/tach...will keep you posted.

As far as the raked forks go: I saw the picture of the kit you used...was there anything more you needed to do the install? I want my guy to do the raked forks, but want to make sure there are no surprises...
