Nothing next to my Hawg but a tool chest and spare parts.  The boat is too damn big to fit in the garage, the driveway or on a trailer.  :pineapple:

Heres what sits in my garage now, not next to the geezerglide (2004 SEEG Blue/Black) it is in Phoenix waiting for me to pick it up in May and then to Sedona, then to Calgary.

It is my SUV of bikes a BMW R1150 GSA, and last year I put over 12,000 mile on it including the CVO get together in Nelson and the trip through Kamloops, Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff also Sturgis, Boonyville Salt Flat Speed Trials. It was my only bike last year due to a faulty Jims Lifter which grenaded my Jims 120.

They are a great bikes for their intended purpose, on/off road, no sand. It will never replace my HD which I have owned for over the past forty years.

By the way Mark (nixobilly) it is For Sale.

You say: "no sand"......is that because it's too heavy or tires too narrow?  spyder

Spyder,

You can put knobbies on these bikes and they are great on gravel roads and cut lines etc. However due to the weight approx. 500 - 650 lbs it is hard to float the front end and as soon as speed drops the front end will want to sink into the sand and if you try to steer it will just basically suck you over. That is the best way to describe it. Most off road bikes for primarily sand are probably below 350cc. Most of the Dakar Rallye type bikes are 650 CC and below and are developed specifically for the Rallye

Well I have a few bikes and an ATV and one big monster tool box up in the shop. But the most important thing that sits next to Ole Punkin in my garage is ME!!!!! And when I sit up in the shop next to her I am usually drunk. The second most important thing is a bottle of 12 year old GEORGE DICKEL!!!!!! Now that is what I am talking about.

Mike you made me chuckle.  I've never had a sip of the George Dickle - sounds like it might me a scotch - but the way you put it, it makes me think I may wish to sample a sip some day.  Not enough to get even tipsy- that and my bike don't do well together, but a sip just so I know what it tastes like.  That way, I will be close to knowing what you are thinking while you are sitting next to ole pumkin and working the tools from your monster tool box.

Hope to run into you and V a bit this summer
