Mothers- Showtime Detailer!!
« on: September 22, 2007, 11:54:46 PM »

I've been using the turtle wax detailer for awhile now, but I tried the Mothers showtime detailer a couple of weeks ago and its great!! :2vrolijk_21: It comes off really nice with a micro-fiber cloth!! It works well and is a good detailer when you want to do just a general clean.
I just spray alittle on the bike and some on one towel wipe with that and then use another towel (micro-fiber) to wipe it dry. It works great!! Nice and easy!! :2vrolijk_21:

I do like the turtle wax detailer, but the mothers showtime is much better!!

                                                  Good stuff!! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Mothers is a quick and easy cleanup. It has my vote. The leather conditioner is good also.

I use the #6S Spray and Shine. Stuff is awesome, but pricey. 15 bucks a bottle, I found it on ebay at 39.95 a gallon, 10 bucks shipping. How much is the Mothers? maybe I'll give it a try.

I'll give it a try after I use up all my #6s, I'll tell ya though, washed the truck last night, while still wet walk around and spray on 6s, dry it off, damn thing looks like just been waxed. Then, after using a microfiber to buff it up, Fugetaboutit! Meguirs is probably the same stuff though.

Hey Dawg,

You might want to check with Tommy0 on that Showtime he can give you an up to date answer on how good it works on the Black bike, because for SirMichael its just a memory now.

Rahter than misleading the people on the site SirMichael should just change his name back to Mikey :)   :huepfenlol2:

How is it in comparison to the Glare Products?

I have used every product imaginal over the course of 15 years and I must admit I have not found any product that can compete with the Glare Polish and Glare Sahara.

It is expensive compared to the others but worth it based on the results. The companies customer service is great.

Ask them anything

I have not used the Glare stuff, It may be better, but I know it costs alot more!! the Mothers works great for the price!!

I was told that the Mothers comes off easier than the Glare stuff does!! That doesn't make it better, but it does make it easier to use!! :2vrolijk_21:

Based on the investment factor on our MC,s  (23K to 28K) the additional cost for a top grade polish does not mean that much to me.

I also found the Glare Polish to be the easist to wipe off as long as you let it dry.

I agree about the costs if it was that much better, but if it works just as well (or better!!), is about 1/3 the costs, and it comes off easier, (you don't have to wait for it to dry), plus you can buy it most anywhere, well.. :nixweiss:
