I've been reading about the huge surge in sales of these. It's gonna get to the point where you'll be walking along a sidewalk and there will be two people lying on the ground shakin with neither able to turn off the juice because they other guys probes are juicin them.

Uh yea.....  did you really buy that thing or a C2?

I just got home from the TASER Master Instructor Course....  much fun....  those of you who might be familiar with Hans M will understand why

the C2 IMHO is a fabulous tool for wifes GFs etc...one of my partners from Taser carries one in his windshield bag on the scoot...

it is designed to deploy the probes and run for 30 seconds whilst you "leave" the area

played with one yesterday

wow

Might want to check the PX @ Keesler AFB.  Been a  few years since  I  was there, but they used to order whatever you wanted.  Have you looked at the Glock 36 in .45?  I've shot the 26 and 27 and found them to be difficult to grip, especially on the second round of a double-tap.  The 36 has the slightly longer and thinner grip.  If you get up to N AL before you buy one, PM me and put a 100 or so rounds thru one of mine.
i have a magazine extension on my 27 and it makes it easy to grip :2vrolijk_21:

i have one clip with and one without the extension. it helped having it until i was comfortable with the size of the 27. after that i found i didnt need it

Extensions do work well....I just can't use the profile they create the way I carry...

Thanks, mother-in-law gave it to me. Wasn't working, but I took it apart and the cam by the trigger was out of alignment. Put it back together and now trigger functions and barrel rotates with each pull :2vrolijk_21:

I've just recently purchased my first gun at age 46. Within a month, I have 3 and a CWP.

I do not plan to carry at first, until I feel comfortable around the weapons AND I am convinced I would use it appropriately. The stories in this thread about using it if you draw it and shooting to kill and dead men don't tell lies, etc. scare the living crap out of me right now. I think one person said "I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6" - I don't know - I may rather be dead than in jail...that seems worse than death. Anyway, I think I will come around, but I just need to be more comfortable with them than I am now.

Ruger P95 9mm
S&W 22 Target
Bersa Thunder 380 (for carry, this is an excellent choice...)
