Saddlebag buddy changes over time, but current is from the S&W .44 Mag family. Probably go to smaller size wise in .40 cal this next year and attach Brutus here to the front door bell button.  :huepfenjump3:

When I was at my local small gun shop yesterday, the shop was full and the owner was selling everything as fast as he could ring it up. He told me he was on the phone reordering several times a day. He said it had been that way for the last month.
Strange thing is all the business is in handguns, 12 ga. 18" home protection pumps, AK-47's and AR-15's. This is the start of hunting season here and 99% of his business for the last 20 years has been in hunting shotguns and deer rifles.
You don't have to be a rocket scientist (or a MoCo engineer) to figure this out.

Got an email from a good buddy this AM asking what to pick up in the way of his first hand gun.  He was going to get one just because he still can.

He got a 22 semi of some kind and a Glock 9mm, said they had so many great guns he'll go back after he picks these two up and shoots them awhile.  I queried him on the models but he wasn't sure.

Good idea.  Don't forget the speedloaders..........lots of speedloaders..........and some extra magazines for the .40 S&W in your saddlebag.   :2vrolijk_21:

I have purchased 6 30 round magazines for my AR's and my MAC-90, 1000 rounds of ammo (7x62 x 39 and .223) and two more AR-15's this week...

No Chit.

I was having a problem carrying various guns due to their size, so I went to the local shop with the intent to pick up a reliable carry piece. (I already have a compact HK .40 and a Para .45)
I walked out with a Kel-Tech 380. , great little piece (compact) (looks like a plastic piece of chit)
but it is reliable and I can completely conceal with no effort. (my 44 mag 8 3/8 Ruger was very hard to conceal)
S&W 586 357 6" revolver to big
S&W 686 357 4" revolver to big
Colt Trooper to big
Para Ordinance 45 to heavy
HK 40 compact still to big
Kel-Tech 380 (PoS) perfect

Cabela's annual ammo sale starts about the 15th of the month.  Case prices on .223 much lower than can be found most anywhere including distributor cost to FFL dealers.  They are USA manufactured by Ultramax in South Dakota, new brass and Nosler ballistic tip bullets.  Bought 3k rounds last year and will order 6k this year.

No PDW in the arsenal?

A Barrett M95?

question...can a civilian actually legally buy a PDW? with a FFL?

Had a Kel-Tech stolen from my truck 10 years ago...decent little .380.  Grabbed the web of my thumb every so often - that HURTS.

I am sure that will happen with my big mitts also (webbing getting caught under the slide), but I do not shoot that gun real often. My Para made me bleed getting the web caught under the hammer. The gun that really punished me was my Ruger 44 mag with scope 2x, I would target shoot with 44 mags (yes I know this is dumb and expensive) and after 20 rounds my middle finger under the trigger guard start bleeding and hurting like I had been hitting it with a hammer (in reality, I was).
I just figured with the weight of that gun the recoil would be less. (oh no!)
Now I just use 44 specials if I plan to shoot more than 10 rounds (not the same trajectory though).

Partial to those black rifles myself.  If it's bigger than a grapefruit and within 1000 yards, I own it.

POLK  COUNTY FLORIDA SHERIFF GRADY JUDD
Some 'dirtbag' in Polk County Florida who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up 'executing' the deputy who stopped him.
 & nbsp;
The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog  killed.

A statewide manhunt ensued.

The low- life was found hiding in a wooded area with his gun and fired first . SWAT team officers fired and hit the guy 68 times.

Now here's the kicker:  Naturally, the media screamed foul and asked why they shot him 68 times.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, told the Orlando Sentinel:  'That's all the bullets we had!'

(Talk about a classic answer! !!)
