weird...all I have read about steel casings is about it rattling around in the chamber and causing excessive carbon blow back.

Interesting...the gas system on the M16's has always been an issue with carbon build up.

Yup mine is affected because when they came out I got a bug up my azz to have one toot sweet.

For quite a while I have used a J frame S&W Airweight 38 as a concealed carry, recently I gave it to my secretary and need to get another to replace it.
Any suggestions for the replacement? I have not seen or tried out a S&W Nightguard but from what I've read it seems interesting.
