True :'(

That is why I swapped out for the cdp this am...Boy is it heavy!
Maybe I should go pick up a 22 mag wheel for the meantime.

Any suggestions, this Kimber is just too big.

I have enjoyed the one I got from my dad's collection, easy to carry and very good for personal protection.  I have the oringinal open hammer without the thumb lever.

Here's a pic of the Centennial.  Also, one for the ladies...........

Seriously though that did peak my interest I like the idea of it being small enough to slip in your pocket. My only concern is I have large hand(s) and wonder about smaller handguns like that. I'll have to stop by a gunshop and put my hands on one, even better find someone that has a few small frame guns and go shoot them.

Just don't carry in your waistband...I have heard if it were to fall thru your waistband - it is possible when retreiving it - to shoot yourself in your leg...   ??? ??? ???

[quote author=miker link=topic=16970.msg499641#msg499641 date= )

I no longer keep one in the chamber to avoid the Plexcio but still carry it and can rack one purty dern quick after a little practice.

Not as quick as a BG pulling the trigger.

I would be willing to bet that Plaxico was handling a Glock. They are an accident waiting to happen to someone who does not train with one constantly, as there is no safety.  Catch that "safe action trigger" on something and that bad-boy goes bang if it contains a chambered round. Had a local "federal agent" touch a round off in a mall men"s room while pulling his pants up, no bull!
