Don't know??? Don't care...they could go to work for someone else if it is that big a deal to them...I would if it were to me...

Ditto

I must give credit to Ruger in regards to the lcp recall issue.
I spoke with a human that had an american accent, they sent a box for shippingtwo days after speaking with them, sent it ups on the 19th got it back an the 26th with an extra magazine and finger extension(nice) and a ball cap...Very good service, off to the range this week to heat it up...

havent gotten mine back yet...but the outbound experience was about the same

any FFL on site that answer a technical question offline?

Funny video .... can't agree with the politically correct left foot/right foot deal though.  My training and experience dictates a "double tap" to the center torso followed by a single to the forehead on the way down .... leaves only one live witness to the story ....   ::)

I would never post weather I did or didn't on a public forum. Never know who might be lurking!
By the way I start my new job with ATF next week!

Amen.  I made the mistake years ago when I was in law enforcement of Only wounding a person and not killing them.  It was a woman who was coming at me from behind with a knife as I was arresting her husband who had just beat the hell out of her.  I had a moment of sympathy and did not kill her.  Long story short they tried to sue me.  Lesson learned.   Dead people do not testify.   Yes my back up was around he is the one who warned me about here because he did not have a clean line of fire to her.

But if folks know you are packing, odds are they will not mess with you...

A black talon just under a half inch has quite a persuasive capability.

My take - peace through superior firepower.

Hand guns carried on bikes?
« Reply #716 on: January 03, 2009, 01:06:08 PM »

I've noticed that a good many people that I ride with carry guns with them.  I'm just not sure how this comes in handy with them locked in the tourpack.  At what point do you get a gun out?  Is there really a good reason to carry one with you on a bike...versus any other time?  This is a serious question.  I've been shopping around online lately, looking at them.  I'm just not quite sure what the reason I would be getting it for.  I would think that I could end up in irreversible trouble by having one.  I'm sure I'll spark some people to respond to this one.

Get a hammerless S&W 38. It fits nicely inside the pocket of the HD leather jacket, or in the back pocket of your jeans. Or so I've heard.
