You will br happy Mark, mnatch grade barrel, shoot well and look good..I did carry the same in a fobus holster unitl I bought the Ruger LCP in 380..It is an easier carry down here carrying in the fron pocket of shorts..But I love the kimber...

Kimber advertises absolutely reliability on that 3" 1911.  Have you ever had any jams or problems with yours?  spyder

The Kimber Ultra CDPII is a great conceal carry pistol. It is lightweight, easy to conceal, a great shooter and a really nice looking pistol IMO...and the obligatory picture along with my Kimber Pro CDPII:

I have had zero issues with my Kimber Ultra CDP II.

I had zeroing issues too, but I adjusted the rear sight and my stance a little, and it zeroed right in....   Then I put a crimson trace on it and things got even better!

Got stopped today.  78/60.  Credentials in Tour Pak.........along with Glock 36.  Informed officer.  He questioned me as why I am carrying a handgun.  My response, "same reason you are, and because I can."  Got a ticket for speeding.
Don't really appreciate being questioned by law enforcement about my choice to travel armed when properly licensed to do so.  That like asking me why I am an AMERICAN.

I sometimes wonder when a question like that is asked .... just what response would make the officer happy?  It's as if you're a suspect for exercising your right to arm yourself.  Sorry 'bout the ticket.   :-[ spyder
