Ah........the Sweet, Sweet South.   :2vrolijk_21:

That Bulgarian got away from me.........that what I get for holding out.  Just not sure about those WASR-10s........sorta raggedly, but I suppose therein lies the challenge.....make it slick and sharp.  That milled receiver on that SLR sure was nice though.
I could very easily get wrapped up in that hobby.  Next thing you know I'd have a collection different AK variants and another closet full of nothing but 7.62X39mm.  All it would take would be just one purchase.

Maybe............after I pay this year's tax bill.............maybe.   :-\

Hey Guy's,

I have a question. I have a buddy that has three pre ban colt ar's. I believe they are h-bar flat tops, or something like that. My ? is, what is one of these things worth, or what would be a GOOD DEAL on one of these?

Get a Yugo or a Norinco (pre-ban)...best bets.

Or jump head first like I did and build your own.  Pressed the barrel out of my practice WASR last night, and going to work on the rest of the de-mil then I will start putting it together.

depends, but you are looking at upwards of 1500 or more depending on condition and past use...

Check out gunbroker.com and you can get an idea of what the market is supporting - much higher then it should

Pre-ban aint the magic it was since the ban lapsed few years back, you can get "pre-ban" stuff now (for now at least).

My pick for traveling, and carrying, is the Seecamp LWS .32  .. Fits in the pocket easily, practically disappears in any of the 3 FL's hard luggage bags, and easy and safe to carry loaded. Been carrying one of these for several years now. For up close and personal, this is the chit.  If I'm traveling she's somewhere close, either me pocket or stashed
in my hard bags somewhere, with an extra clip for good measure.. Better safe than sorry.. Watch out scumbags!! I refuse to be a victim!!

LarryB,  To me the .32 model seems just right. At its typical engagement range, 7ft or less, your going to do serious damage with the .32, with minimal recoil.
Which means follow-up shots are fast and on target. Very easy to shoot and engage targets at this range with nice groups(head and neck area) for a gun of this
size, with no sights. .380 will recoil alot more, so groups probably will not be as good, plus gun will require recoil spring replacement after while, whereas the
.32 should not require any maintenance other than a good cleaning. Try your local gun dealer, they should be able to get you one, $500-$600 range..One of the
better investments in my opinion.. :2vrolijk_21:

They seem to be alittle easier to find these days. Collector's Firearms out of Houston has one. You can view online. Plus, you should be able to order one new from your dealer without too long a waiting period, unless you want the .380, hadn't seen too many of those. I think they recently procured an additional CNC machine, so the waiting period isn't as long as before.

I use a couple of 380's as carry weapons.....a Colt and a Llama.  Good concealability and not too heavy.....always wanted a Seecamp, though.  Someday I'll run across one. ;)  spyder
