The state of Virginia passed a bill so you can get your permit to carry on the internet. That is our goverment doing what they do best. Screw up.

How is making it easy to get your carry permitt a screw up? An armed society is a polite society.

just look for something in a good ar pistol. This "world"  is greek to me. Now handguns and shotgun I'm good at!

Build one...

I have a Delton (DTI) Lower and am waiting on my Rock River Arms 7.5" upper...ordered in March to arrive.  I have an Ace Buffer and a DPMS lower kit all ready for my upper to arrive.

You can score uppers on Gun Broker in the 500-700 range.

I have built two already an M4 and an A2.  AR's are a blast to build and you really don't "NEED" any special tools - you can do it with common hand tools.

But what fun is that.

I was thinking the same thing - you still have to go through the same background checks...  What difference would be doing it through the mail or on-line matter?

If everyone carried a weapon, not many crooks would be bold enough to attack and hurt other folks

Peace through superior firepower...?

Pistols are legal as long as you don't have a stock - if you want a SBR you can pay for a tax stamp/ticket to own it, think its $300 to own.

AR-15.com has an entire thread dedicated to AR Pistols...lots of sexy AR porn

so doing it via the mail is better?

same background checks, same requirements to have a concealed permit - if you can do it via an on-line method how is that a screw up?

tons of folks are killed by dumbass drivers - they were able to renew their license on-line, should that stop also?

make it easier not harder

Christmas in july!!
did you order direct from Seecamp

Ordered this one ( :D :D :D) from a stocking dealer in TX. FedEx just delivered it and I have to go over and fill out the paperwork. Another dealer I know has the next two consecutive serial numbers. NO, I'm not buying all three! This "hobby" is getting as expensive as the CVO.

AJ, that Seecamp's looking good!  I remember reading somewhere that they just love  :-* Winchester Silver Tip hollowpoints!  Feed & eject them like they were made for ea. other.....much better than other ammo.  That was awhile back, so the pistols or ammo might have changed.  What's the 'out-the-door-AJ-deal' price for these babies?  :nixweiss: spyder

The Seecamp will only fire Gold Dot or Silvertips. For ball ammo, Winchester Q4255. OTD $ was 475 plus $30 fee on my end for "transfer fees".

Spoke to Chief today and he and Mohota are not coming down this year.  :( Too much to do.

I'm wondering about that .32 Seecamp....pretty small, so how's it's punch & range?  I really like my SigSauer 357, but a little heavy in my shoulder hoster for all day riding.  And, my police 2" 38 special is ok, but old school.  Actually, it might have more stopping power & range for a little revolver than your Seecamp.  No?

The hassle, is, you have to leave your piece locked up in the scoot in order to stop for a beer now & then.

What do some of you on the Canada or  border states do regarding carrying?   Is there any way to check your piece somewhere on the USA side, ride Canada (buy your bear spray!), then pick up coming back?  Forget Mexico, I'm done with that.

Hey!  I just thought of a new business!  Check your gun at ResBiker's Secure Gunsafe, will store and/or transfer to an affiliate somewhere else.  Hmmm, wonder what you'd have to do with the BATF to get that going?  Oh, well...
