This is a serious issue and should not be taken lightly. At least in the most liberal state of california, if you are caught with any fire arms without being a law officer or a concealed weapons permit, you are headed for trouble. Just some food for thought.

I don't think anyone is taking the Second Amendment lightly. I think the topic of the thread was merely whether or not you carried a weapon, legally.

Which is the PRIMARY reason I will never accept orders to a state that would not let me carry a weapon and would require me to get rid of or have someone hold about a dozen of my favorite rifles.

California (and NY, NJ, CONN, MASS) can keep their stupid rules and gun control paranoia, I'll stay out.

A pair of Taurus model 85 .38 specials with +P Hydrashocks! Carried in both front pockets of a Fox Creek Leather vest in Uncle Mikes inside the pocket holsters.  :2vrolijk_21: This vest also has a inside pocket for a larger auto. Taurus PT25 9mm in the bags. Brass knuckles, a S&W Tactical switch blade and a 4 "C" cell Mag lite!  :bananarock: Kentucky has a concealed deadly weapon lic. I can carry anything I want! God I love this state!  :apple: I feel a revolver is a safer carry and quick to use! Carring an auto locked n loaded could end op badly. I personally know someone who dropped an auto in the pisser and it shot him up through his balls and killed him. He was a mechanic at Asher's HD in KY. RIP BULLET.

Check out the NRA store they have a Chit load of concealed carry clothing!

That's one thing I haven't figured out yet (besides what piece I'm gonna get when I get back to the states) is where I'm gonna carry it... I'm not a leather guy and wear full riding gear anytime I get out and ride, so there aren't any easily accesible pockets, and fumbling around trying to get chit unzipped is gonna take way too long if I need to access my weapon. Could probably get away with a shoulder rig or something like that in my summer gear, but with my winter coat, that ain't gonna work.  :nixweiss:

I won this one at a NRA fund raiser about two months ago.  Ruger 380 LCP (light carry pistol).  Excellent pocket gun!  Perfect for your back pocket and the case looks like a wallet.  Can't want for someone to tell me to had over my wallet!

I live in New York and hate the fact that NY is anti 2nd Ammendment.  I do want to move...just have not picked a place to move to yet.

My friends wife was sooo excited to get hers. Took her to the range 2 days later with a box of rounds and some targets. This Little thing kicked like a 50 cal and was very difficult to hold. the recoil bruised her hand in the web between the thumb and fore finger. She fired 4 rounds and we traded she emptied the clips in both my .40 Glocks without near the recoil.

Probably the most wicked .380 I've fired managed a 5 inch grouping at 15 yards but very uncomfortable to shoot. the trigger pull is around 6 lbs and can only be modified by a gunsmith. It was pretty :-* but went right back to the gun store and the Glock 9mm is back in her purse.

I live in New York and hate the fact that NY is anti 2nd Amendment.  I do want to move...just have not picked a place to move to yet.

This among other reasons was why I left Illinois and moved to Gun friendly Indiana. We do not have CCW we have LTC. So open or concealed is up to the permit holder and the permit is honored by over 28 states. License to carry lifetime permit is $60.00 adding a Utah non-resident get you 5 more states

I don't believe you need a permit to defend yourself and your property in a free country, but I guess more and more I don't live in one any more.

Vermont is the only state true to the founders concept. The Second Amendment is your permit there.

This is my Daily Conceal Carry Pistol, Sig Sauer 9mm, P226. Most of my guns all have "Sex Appeal" but not this, the U.S. Navy Seals carry it because it's all Business. This thing shoots sweeter than all my Colts put together. Living in Kentucky gives you the right to carry with a permit, so sometimes size does matter.  :2vrolijk_21:
