Good choice Resbiker.
Go back one page and read my post #1185 and the next couple of posts for info on carrying the Glock model 36.
Thanks for your reply...The subject of calibers is interesting... .45 cal for knockdown, .40 cal for knockdown & range accuracy, .357 sig for penetration & accuracy, .45 cal long colt/000 buckshot for the Judge.  And that's not even getting into magnum loads!  Here in Montana I need a good carry for the woods (bear, cats, & idiots) and something for the bike & car.  Wife likes her .38 S&W police, has a hard time racking my auto.  My police son has the Glock .40, & LAE seems to like that one. Tomorrow I'll put the .45 cal Glock 36 against my SigSauer .357 & see.  The Judge is all over the place after 7-8 yards! :-\

The first six shots on the roll is OK, but reloading is a be-otch . :2vrolijk_21:

Finally picked up something new. I looked at all the choices, and the Taurus TCP felt most comfortable in my hand.

Also scored a Crimson Trace for it off eBay for $160 shipped!

Now I just gotta find somewhere to go get familiar with it. (and get my CCW).

Is that the .380 or 9mm? I've seen them advertised, but never held one. Looks nice.

I carry the Ruger LCP daily (.380) and love it. Pretty accurate too. Kicks like a mule with +P loads in it.  You give up some caliber size for the advantage of being very concealable. Nice

It's too bad that in the Demo-Communist state of Illinois, you can go to another state to get a CCW license to exercise your 2nd amendment rights, that's good in 30 something other states but your own. Wisconsin being the only other state similarly situated will be correcting this soon.  Although Illinois has a CCW bill that's been floating around, the Democratic Machine is going all out to help protect the 'business interests' of the inner city criminals - Their bread and butter voters. Makes me sick.

I've got a little S&W 380. I'm not partitularly fond of the gun, other than it's cheap ($150 or so 8 years ago), easy to conceal, and I can just toss it in the saddlebag, glove box, console, or my pocket if need be. Not a lot of firepower, but, It would sling out 5-6 rounds in a hurry.

I'm lucky, I can get familiar with it in my back yard.

thought this was kinda cool..... for those pesky states that might want it stored 'securely'.

If you conceal carry and get stopped by the cops and they ask you if you're carrying without a CCP in the state you're riding in, is it safe to assume you're pretty much dead meat and in deep ----?
