Anyone tried Diamond Gusset Jeans?

Anyone ever tried the Diamond Gusset Jeans I've hearing about?  What do you think?  The ad sounds good and they're made in america.

I know at least TC and I have.  On the way back to Chuck's place and Traxxion Dynamics this past spring I stopped at their store just off I-40.

Timing was perfect as I was needing jean.  Only had about zero pairs left that weren't worn through someplace so was looking forward to trying them.  Loved them immediately.  The boys really notice the differnce.

I came out with (I think) six pair of pants.  Still like them both for riding and general use.  Among that was one pair of their riders pants with the kevlar reinforcements.  Those are only minimally more restrictive than their standard pants.  Much less so than I expected they'd be.  And they are obviously a rider's pants.  Velcro at the end of the legs.  Clips for keys right where you'd want it.  Obviously designed by some who'd spent some time in the saddle.

I've got a pair of black, two of the regular blue jeans, and the Kevlar pair.  It's all I wear anymore, even when not riding.  The Kevlar is a bit warm in the summer months, but are quite comfortable when it's not 95 degrees out.  Well made product... :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

No Barry, for us it's "how much can I eat without having to unhook them under the table when no one is looking?"

This place offers excellent deals on a very limited selection of styles and sizes of regular Gusset Jeans: http://search.store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/nsearch?catalog=nyironworks&query=gusset&.autodone=http%3A%2F%2Fnyironworks.stores.yahoo.net%2Fnsearch.html

Those jeans look like a great product. I mysel :2vrolijk_21:f have been wearing Carhart jeans for years. They are made from 15oz. cotton, very durable and comfortable fit. Recently a motorcycle magazine did a test on riding pants, including pairs with renforcements, The Carharts got a mention as a great product. They are availible through sears and other stores and of course lots of online retailers too,

When I retired in 1999 only thing I had in the closet was 6-7 business suits, white shirts and 1 polo shirt.  The only things in the closet now are 5 pairs of Diamond Gusset black jeans, 12,385,999 black H-D teeshirts and the heated electric gear.  Wife says she saved one suit to bury me in.

Ride Safe.

Just got a pair delivered yesterday.Fit great. Then my wife grabbed them to wrap for Christmas.Seems they're a little lighter weight than Levies or Wranglers.Good thing or bad depending on the temp.Think they're going to be great on the bike when the snow melts in about 5 months.
