FLHRSEI2 NEW PAINT SCHEME

I know some who think that CVO paint schemes are sacred, and shouldn't be modified.  Well...I had mine painted, and I like it!  I kept the centennial gold base, and replaced the black accents with a "real fire" paint scheme.  The idea is that the tip of the front fender is "white hot", and the flames cool somewhat as they lick back over the bike, with bits of "hot" embers here and there.  Of course, I modified a few other things too.  This is my first attempt at attaching photos, but here goes...starting with a view from the left front.

Thanks to all for the favorable comments.  Another biker approached me in a parking lot yesterday and said "I've seen a lot of custom paint jobs, and I'll have to say...that's the best looking custom paint job that I've ever seen."  I don't think that I would go that far, but as time goes by I like it even more.  I underestimated the attention that it would get; however, I'll have to say that I'm enjoying it; it's another opportunity to meet new people, and to me that's one of the most enjoyable aspects of riding.  I have aways enjoyed looking at others' custom paint schemes, and I don't mind that my rides now take a little longer to let others enjoy looking, and to discuss it with them.  Heck, I'm never in a hurry to get home anyway!
