OK. I saw the post a while back from Glave on the 02 Production Numbers and decided to call HD to get the definitive 03 Production Numbers. After getting the run around from the messed up phone system today, a nice Customer Rep gave me a call back with exactly what I was looking for. Here is the break down:
2003 Production Numbers
3,163 - 49 state emissions compliant
313 - California state emissions compliant
127 - HDI (international) configuration
-----
3,603 - Total Built
Just so everyone does not have to go back a look for Glave's post as a comparison, here are the numbers he got from HD:
2002 Production Numbers
408 - Total Brandywine
? - Brandywine 49 state emissions compliant
? - Brandywine Calfornia state emissions Compliant
1,771 - Total Purple
1,642 - Purple 49 state emissions compliant
129 - Purple Calfornia state emissions Compliant

2,179 - Total
I got the same response from the rep regarding the build number for my bike. "The last numbers in the VIN do not provide this information, and there is no way for HD to determine what number your bike was in the 3,603 production run".
