Think it's going to be OK, it's beginning to break in to fit me,  I put a mustang on the 97 FLHTC and that seat is very comfortable and still looks great, been on bike since it was new. I've got about 2800 on the SEEG and the longest trip in a day was about 300 miles, I'll just have to see how it goes with more miles.
God Bless,

Hi TallyKing, I do ride alot, but also spend many hours cleaning and polishing, although I have now sold the 97 to a friend of mine, that does some riding with us, so I still get to see and rub on it every now and then, she was mighty hard to part with, but he's taking good care of her.

Looks real fine Nite-Al. I'm just a newbee with 77 km on mine waiting for the snow to disappear. Question. Why did you take off the front disc brake? I do like it with the full polished spoked ThunderStar wheel. You can see it much better. And for the exhaust, I see no crossover, just straight into seperate pipes. How does it sound? Does the 103 pull better below 3000 rpm? Doesn't it need the back pressure from the crossover?

Hi ole' buddy,as for the front rotor, always been a preference of mine, on the exhaust, I took complete factory exhaust system off and installed the Samson caliber true dual high performance system, a 3 step system designed for performance with plenty of back pressure, sounds great and the 103 pulls pretty good at about any rpm. You might want to take a look at my homepage and it will show the things I've done to scoot.

Welcome aboard and God bless,

I can/t understand why you would  increase your braking distances and decrease the braking ability
