Thanks for sharing that!  Up here in Michigan, violent crime is down (many of us thank the right to carry laws for that) but burglary, armed robbery, etc are sharply rising as the economy and unemployment go sour.

Thanks for sharing, that will be a good video link to spread around. The most important message of the video IMO is to be aware of your surroundings. I really dislike being in large crowds because most people don't pay attention and are not aware of their surroundings...they seem to only be concerned with themselves. How many times have you been at a sports event and only have a small "path" through an area and the person in front of you stops to talk to a somebody else so the walking traffic through the "path" stops abruptly. It really irritates me that the majority of people don't pay attention to their surroundings...rant over.

This is a good reminder for us to be careful, and since the holiday season is fast approaching, good timing too.  I usually buckle my bags in the passenger seat, so they can't slide off.  I put my laptop when carying it in the car, in the back seat directly behind the drivers seat. I never leave the laptop bag in the car longer than needed.  We are threatened within the last inch of our careers that we are not to loose our government computers, no matter what excuse you may come up with.  You almost have to lock it to you until you can get it to your destination, and then lock it there.
