I guess more than anything else I wear a helmet because of the law (and because my wife makes me, which I guess you can also count as the law too).

i think that it should be OUR choice to decide to wear a helmet.
I also think that if Ride I should have my gear,,and that includes a helmet...
i have no problem wearing leather jackets for protection. or heavy boots or chaps for that matter.. arent those items for protection against an accident? indian larry met his
maker not wearing one...helmets wear out also, so make sure ya collect em!!!   [smiley=laugh.gif]
